Social Studies

The Second graders of Room 205 will have one period of Social Studies each week.

The students will not be graded for this subject.

They will be exploring a variety of topics.

The following are the topics they will be learning:

Holidays, Historical Persons, Responsibilities of Citizenship, Components of a Neighborhood, Geographical Terms, Important Places, and Timeline.

and Seasons.

This week in Social Studies:This week May 25th the children will read an article from

Scholastic News called "Bounce!" May 2020 issue. The children will read key details to learn safety rules when playing on a trampoline.

The Social Studies part of this article is learning about safety rules.

The children will play a game called Bounce!
